Alex Landi & Jake Borelli on Grey's Anatomy (2019)

This week's episode of Grey's Anatomy featured some advancement for the show's gay doctors Nico (played by Alex Landi) and Schmitt (played by Jake Borelli). Their first scene had them getting steamy on a bed at the hospital, when they are interrupted by a call from Schmitt's mother. When he quiets Nico so he can take the call, he realizes that Schmitt hasn't told his mother about him, or being gay. Schmitt tries to gloss over the issue, but it leads to a rift. Their final scene, however, saw Schmitt making amends, by revealing his love for Nico, and his desire to protect his first love from his mother's tendency to point out all of the bad things that will happen, as she's always done in his life. This led to a kiss as Nico was pleased to hear of Schmitt's feelings for him.
