Soapy Sunday: Paul Telfer on Days of Our Lives (2019)

Paul Telfer's character, Xander, continued to be pulled further into the gay drama on Days of Our Lives this week. He began the January 15th episode shirtless in bed only to be awakened by the caress of his cousin Sonny's scheming husband Leo (played by Greg Rikaart). Leo pressed Xander to agree to sleep with him in exchange for his blackmail info on Sonny that could help Xander take control of the family business. Meanwhile, Sonny (played by Freddie Smith) & his true love Will (played by Chandler Massey) continued to work in secret to find Leo's mother, hoping she might be just the thing to help get rid of him. They stole away some makeout time at the hospital, after Sonny got away from a suspicious Leo. Things continued in the January 18th episode, as Will got an update from his step-grandfather John whom he had enlisted to find the woman. Meanwhile, back at Sonny's place, Leo overheard Xander hit a brick wall with his attempts to take over the company. He pushed again for Xander to take his offer and Xander reluctantly accepted. They met in his bedroom and a shirtless Xander reminded Leo that this was a business arrangement, but Leo assured him it would be very pleasurable. The episode ended with a kiss to seal their deal, as they fell onto the bed.
