Soapy Sunday: Paul Telfer & Greg Rikaart on Days of Our Lives (2019)

Paul Telfer has returned again to Day of Our Lives, reprising his role as trouble-making conman Xander. The daytime soap wasted little time getting him stripped down, as he appeared in a towel for his last two scenes of the January 7th episode, where he returned from skinny-dipping to annoy his uncle Victor. The January 9th episode found him becoming involved in the show's gay storyline, as he met his cousin Sonny's new husband, Leo (played by Greg Rikaart), who was instantly attracted to Xander's muscles. Sonny (played by Freddie Smith) took the chance to steal some time with his true love Will (played by Chandler Massey), leaving Leo to be distracted by the half-naked Xander. Leo stripped down to his swim trunks, planning to join Xander in the water in his tiny shorts. Realizing how much they have in common, Xander attempted to recruit Leo to help in his efforts to make a power-grab within the family, but Leo refused to reveal his blackmail secret unless Xander agreed to have sex with him. The straight Xander refused Leo's offer, but Leo urged him to reconsider after getting a good feel of Xander's chest. Meanwhile, Sonny & Will began their search for Leo's mother, believing she might provide an answer to their nightmare with him. The two also took the opportunity to sneak in some romance, leading to a few kisses.
