GayTV Recap: How to Get Away With Murder (Episode 5x4)

The latest episode of How to Get Away With Murder found the show's engaged gays, Connor (played by Jack Falahee) and Oliver (played by Conrad Ricamora), getting themselves involved in more drama. As planning for their upcoming wedding continued, a curious Oliver went to see Frank, revealing his suspicion that Frank has been trying to gain intel on Annalise's new law student Gabriel. Attempting to cover his tracks, Frank revealed to Oliver that he was doing background checks on all of Annalise's students, as usual.

This didn't convince Oliver and, despite Frank's warnings, he started looking into Gabriel's history himself. Connor grew upset to know that Annalise researches her students and it left him feeling insecure, wondering what she found on him to make her choose him for her team.

When Oliver's hacking uncovered the law student files, Connor discovered that Annalise lied to him about getting him back into school after his previous drop out. Despite her making him second chair for her big upcoming trial, Connor confronted her about the lie, leading to a major argument and him losing out on the position at her side, which she revoked and gave to Gabriel.

This season's big flash-forward mystery also finds Connor & Oliver in a prominent position as it appears to take place on their wedding night a few months in the future. With their crowded reception going on, it appears that someone has fallen dead just outside. With the hastag #WhoDiedAtTheWedding prominently featured during the flash-forwards, and a bruised Connor unable to locate his new husband, it's left viewers wondering if Oliver might be the big victim.
