25 Days of Gays: How to Win at Checkers (Every Time) (2015)
How to Win at Checkers (Every Time) is a film from Thailand. Told mainly in flashbacks, it centers on Oat, a young boy who idolizes his older brother Ek (played by Thira Chutikul), who is raising him after the deaths of their parents. His world is turned upside down at the thought of Ek being drafted in the annual military lottery, leading him to attempt to help Ek avoid being chosen by reaching out to their city's seedy underbelly. This ultimately leads to more problems for Ek. Meanwhile, Ek's long-standing relationship with his boyfriend Jai (played by Arthur Navarat) faces turmoil as Jai's well-off family secures his exemption from the lottery, while Ek resigns himself to his fate. Thira shows rear nudity for a shower scene, as Ek attempts to masturbate in private only to be interrupted by a prank. Arthur appears in several shirtless scenes alongside Thira.
