25 Days of Gays: Hooked (2017)

Hooked was the debut feature of writer/director Max Emerson, who developed the film to shine a spotlight on the plight of homeless gay youth. The film centers on Jack (played by Conor Donnally), an eighteen-year-old hustler whose impulsive, and sometimes explosive, personality leads him to trouble that his boyfriend Tom (played by Sean Ormond) may not be able to save him from. Conor spends the majority of his screentime shirtless. The film features some rear nudity from Jared Sandler who plays a tormenting youth sharing space with the couple at a shelter. Casper Andreas (Flatbush Luck, Violet Tendencies, Going Down in LA-LA Land, The Big Gay Musical, A Four Letter Word, Kiss Me, Kill Me) appears in just his underwear for his lengthy scene early in the film as Jack's client. Alec Varcas also appears in just his undies as New York's Naked Cowboy during the opening credits. Max appears shirtless in his cameo as a meth head who crosses paths with Jack, along with a shirtless Pablo Hernandez (The 10 Year Plan). Terrance Murphy shows a bit of his chest briefly for his lead role as Ken, a married man living in the closet, who attempts to help Jack experience a better life.
