Soapy Sunday: Chris Van Etten on General Hospital (2017)

General Hospital got newcomer Chris Van Etten shirtless this week. Chris, a real-life Marine veteran, joined the daytime soap as Chet Driscoll, the military vet brother of Nurse Amy. Chet's sister had teamed up with Nathan (played by Ryan Paevey) to create the advice column ruse that led to a book deal in order to help pay for Chet's medical expenses and deal with his opioid addiction. Their ruse was discovered leading to trouble for the duo. While shirtless at the gym in the November 20th episode, Chet got advice from his doctor Finn on dealing with family and addiction. This led him to reveal his struggles publicly, saving Amy & Nathan from legal trouble.
