Matthew Daddario & Harry Shum Jr. on Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments (2017)

This week's episode of Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments heavily featured the show's enduring couple Alec (played by Matthew Daddario) and Magnus (played by Harry Shum Jr.). With their relationship in danger due to a secret Alec kept from Magnus last week, Magnus found himself reminiscing about their romance this week while also trying to comfort Alec as his young brother teetered on the brink of death. Flashbacks took viewers back to the first time the two tried to have sex. Alec was shirtless for the occasion. Another flashback later in the episode again featured the two in bed together as they discussed their fears. This scene featured a few glimpses of Magnus shirtless. Ultimately, that conversation about fear comes back in the present, as Magnus breaks-up with Alec in order to truly lead his people.
