25 Days of Gays: I Killed My Mother (2009)
The Canadian film I Killed My Mother (J'ai tué ma mère) was the writing/directing debut of lead actor Xavier Dolan. It's a semi-autobiographical story centered around Hubert (played by Xavier), a gay teen struggling through his turbulent relationship with his eccentric mother while coming of age and finding his own place in the world. Xavier gets several shirtless scenes throughout the movie. There's also shirtless moments for his co-star François Arnaud, who plays Hubert's boyfriend Antonin, whom he keeps secret from his mother. Hubert seeks escape in Antonin's more openly-loving household, which includes Antonin's mother Hélène who engages in her own affair with a younger man (played by Mathieu Grimard). Mathieu is shirtless for one scene.
