K.J. Apa on Riverdale (2017)

The new CW series Riverdale is a dark, updated adaptation of the classic Archie comics. The new series differs from its source material with plots including teen murder, embezzlement and inappropriate teacher/student sexual relations. At the center of all the drama is Archie Andrews (played by K.J. Apa). The first episode of the series establishes that Archie "got hot" over the summer, as he shows off his new abs in multiple scenes of the episode. The episode also featured some potential for man-on-man action as gay teen Kevin Keller (played by Casey Cott) went on a secret rendezvous with his classmate, the closeted jock Moose (played by Cody Kearsley). Sadly, before they could strip down, they discovered their murdered classmate's body.
