Alex Roe in The 5th Wave (2016)

One of the latest young adult novel series to receive a film adaptation was The 5th Wave. The story centers on Cassie Sullivan (played by Chloë Grace Moretz), a teen who finds herself on the run in search of her young brother after multiple waves of an alien attack leave the planet in ruins. As with many of the films in the young adult genre, she's also faced with two potential love interests. Alex Roe and Nick Robinson took on those roles. While Nick remained fully clothed for the film, Alex got a rather gratuitous shirtless scene as his character washes up in a river just as Cassie arrives to see his wet and rippling muscles. Alex looked fantastic. Here's hoping his career continues to include roles that get him out of his clothes.
