Matthew Daddario on Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments (2016)

The new Freeform series Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments continues to get its male cast members shirtless. This week it was Matthew Daddario's turn. Episode 8 featured Matthew's character, Alec Lightwood, taking some time out to hit the punching bag to work out his frustrations without a shirt. He gets a visit from Magnus (played by Harry Shum Jr.), who continues his flirtatious interactions with Alec, urging him not to get dressed. He tries to convince Alec that he doesn't have to dedicate his existence to his family's obligations. He urges him to follow his heart. Unfortunately, that doesn't lead him to Magnus. Instead he looks to save his family's name by proposing to a woman to retain their power.
