Peter Caulfield, Andrew Hayden-Smith, Fisayo Akinade, Joel Palmer, Freddie Fox, James Murray & Charles Russell on Cucumber Banana Tofu (2015)

Queer as Folk and Doctor Who producer/writer Russell T. Davies has launched his latest project, three interconnected British television series Cucumber, Banana, and Tofu. The first episode of Cucumber introduces Henry Best, an aging gay man who finds his longtime relationship in turmoil due to his refusal to have intercourse. His partner, played by Cyril Nri brings home a young man (played by Peter Caulfield) in an effort to tempt Henry into a threesome but he refuses and calls on the police when they proceed without him. Peter bares all in the sequence, with frontal and rear nudity. James Murray is shirtless in the episode which also introduces Fisayo Akinade as Dean, a 19 year-old who works in the mailroom at Henry's office. He shows off his chastity belt leading to some obscured frontal nudity. Dean's story is fleshed out in the companion series, Banana, where Fisayo has a few scenes of rear nudity. Andrew Hayden-Smith has a rear nude scene in the first episode, playing a businessman who Dean attempts to hook up with. Joel Palmer has several shirtless scenes as Dean fantasizes about being with him while on a bus ride. Freddie Fox plays Dean's flatmate, Freddie (the object of Henry's lust), who has a few shirtless scenes. The third series in the trilogy is the documentary-style Tofu, which features interviews related to sex from gay and straight people. It also features a short scripted segment revolving around Dan (played by Charles Russell) who lives in a world where he has access to women's opinions on his appearance and sexual performance. Charles is shirtless in one scene along with some partial rear nudity.
