Edward Fasulo in Visions of Sugarplums (2001)
It's a gay-themed Christmas film double feature today. First up is Edward J. Fasulo in Visions of Sugarplums. The very low budget film, also written by Edward, centers on Bruce and his live-in boyfriend Joey (played by Edward) as they prepare to enjoy their first Christmas together, only to have things derailed when Bruce's father, a religious zealot, decides to pay him a surprise visit with Bruce's mother. Bruce (played by Mark W. Hardin) remains in the closet with his parents and forces Joey out to keep up his secret. In the end, the truth comes out and Bruce is disowned by his father and Joey returns to help him pick up the pieces and realize the true meaning of family. Edward gets out of his shirt for two scenes. The first finds his character almost cheating on Bruce before stopping himself. The second has him surprising Bruce with breakfast in bed on Christmas.
