Soapy Sunday: Zach Tinker & Michael Mealor on The Young & the Restless (2019)

The Young & the Restless employed a classic trope in order to work in some gratuitous skin this week. The January 31st episode found Kyle (played by Michael Mealor) looking for some emergency subs for a company photoshoot after the planned models got stuck out of town. Of course, the only available replacements turned out to be Kyle himself, and his current romantic rival Fen (played by Zach Tinker). The duo traded verbal jabs while taking part in the shirtless photoshoot, which was managed by Fen's mother Lauren and Kyle's former stepmother Phyllis. Despite the success of the shoot, it didn't stop the guys from bickering topless. The sequence provided Zach with his first chance to show off his chest on the soap opera.
