Soapy Sunday: Ryan Paevey on General Hospital (2018)

Ryan Paevey's impending departure from General Hospital looked all the more real this week with his character, Nathan, getting shot while coming to his pregnant wife Maxie's rescue. Maxie found herself in the clutches of Nathan's birth father Cesar Faison during the January 26th episode. Nathan rushed to her side, causing Faizon to shoot him, not realizing Nathan's identity. His shirt was removed for the triage that followed at the hospital. In gay story developments, the episode saw the return of Ryan Carnes as hot doc Lucas, who announced that he & his husband Brad will be adopting a child together. Lucas happened to be in the same building where Nathan was shot and quickly came to his aide.
